Sailing is the portal to an escape from dramatics A push off into a bliss uncountered by any other feeling Mast up with a gentle breeze, enough to set out Toes dangling, breaking the waters surface Sun shimmering on ripples of fantasy An escape from immeasurable tragedy An afternoon off, relaxation, perhaps reading Land drifts away, and shoulders relax Tension released, for now at least Water ripples and wind chimes in for a song There is no comfort like the arms of freely flying Across a territory one can not control
